Robert Leamon Lilly was born in Versailles, Ky in 1954 he is the 6th of 13 children born to Mr.& Mrs James Logan Lilly. He was a 1972 graduate of Woodford Co.High School, located in Versailles, Ky. Robert served in the US ARMY from 1972 to 1975 . He moved to Atlanta Ga. in 1981 to attend the Atlanta College of Art. He attend for 2 1/2 years. Although Robert never graduated from art school his dream of becoming an artist lives on from the age of 4 years old. Robert's future plans include going back to art school and graduating, opened a home training school of art for children and expanding his art on the internet. He enjoys painting in oil acrylic, mixed media, drawing in ink & pencil.

Some Inspirations

U Name Itt painting came from the thought how did we get here creation or the big bang conclusion I created the painting and someone created us.

Repent is based on praying the color represent the people of the world because we all need to pray and no matter how you hang it you will find someone praying.

Save The Children came to mind when I was thinking about how our were being treated and the suffering they face in the world. The color represent all the children of the world. This is my attribute to them. We must never forget that our children are a precious gift from GOD. Copies of either versions 1,2 or 3 can be purchased at 11x14 size for $10.00 ea.

Sparkle of Hope Believe it or not this painting came into existence based on how light reflects on an object so I had no object to look at so I started this painting with a circle I did not like the way it looked so I decided to make the circle into these forms.The first painting represents suffering. The second painting represents the suffering seeking help. The third painting brings it down to earth but as I continue to paint on this subject with these types of object I can add to the left or the right. The more I paint to the left side of the three painting the more abstract the painting will become. The more I go to the right side of the painting the more you realize that the suffering relates to us the human race.
